A Social Purpose
Maymessy is set up as a community interest company. We are a not for profit and our income-generating activities are expressly designed to pay for its social purpose.
Funding & Donations
We rely on the generosity of local funders, charitable trusts, philanthropic individuals and local businesses.
In 2024 we are looking for funding for cookery classes for families struggling financially and supporting new charities like Project Salama who supports domestic abuse survivors.

Anna is proud to be on Natwest WISE 100 -recognising leading women in social enterprise.
Maymessy is over the moon to be recognised by our MP David Johnson as a volunteers hero June 2020 in Wantage /Didcot and for our hard work in Covid 19 to support our NHS in Oxford.

2020 Finalist Social entrepreneur in South East for education -UK Social Entrepreneur Index is a celebration of social enterprises a bench mark for good practice.
2021 Maymessy has been awarded the Points of Light award which is given by the Prime Minister’s office and recognises outstanding individual volunteers - people who are making a change in their community.

Young Ambassador - Hector Boswell
What an honour to have 13 year old Hector as a young ambassador to Maymessy. He has written and directed ‘The Road to Resilience’ about mental resilience and learning to live with anxiety. He is a supporter of mental health in other young people.
